MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
Foam pieces protected by a water-repellent mattress protector. In case of stains, you can rub them with soap and water. In case of a major accident, you can machine wash the foam pieces one by one, rolling them up tightly, at 30 degrees, and dry flat.

Printed cover: 30 degrees normal cycle, air dry, no ironing on the back in water-repellent coated canvas

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

STORAGE
The life mat folds in half, making it easy to slide behind or under your sofa. We don't recommend storing it in its tote bag for too long; it's best stored folded in half!

USE :
In case of prolonged use on a very wet surface, even if the back of the cover is made of water-repellent coated canvas, we advise you to remove the cover to allow the foam pieces to dry properly in the open air.

DELIVERY

Orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. This timeframe may be extended during periods of high order volumes (Christmas, new collections, etc.)

Pre-order items are shipped from the date indicated on the product sheet. If your order contains at least one pre-order item, your order will be shipped once it is complete.

Deliveries are made in Metropolitan France by Chronopost 13H or ChronoRelais (24 hours after dispatch, Monday to Friday), Colissimo (2-3 days), by Mondial Relay (3-5 days), GLS (2-3 working days), in Europe (4-5 days), and worldwide (5-11 days).

What is a life mat?

Much more than just a play mat, our life carpet is designed to grow with your child and family. Thanks to its modularity and to his activity covers, it adapts to all stages of life: awakening, motor skills, play, quiet time, extra bed for pajama parties... In short, useful from 0 to 99 years old! Because in the end, comfort has no age.

Designed with the help of early childhood professionals (psychomotor therapist, occupational therapist, etc.), it is perfectly adapted to the needs of newborns:

What is the life mat made of?

2 pieces of foam (Or 3 for king-size format) protected by non-removable mattress covers

How did we choose this foam?

With the help of early childhood professionals, to ensure that it meets the babies' motor skills needs:

Which life mat should you choose?

Two main criteria must be taken into account: the size and the matter.

What size should I choose?

Our living mat comes in two sizes:

Standard size: 120 × 120 cm – composed of 2 pieces of foam and1 zipped cover
King size: 180 × 120 cm – the standard carpet + an extension of 60 × 120 cm which is fixed using a pressure system

💡 No stress: you can absolutely start with the standard size and add the extension later. All our standard covers are already equipped with pressures to accommodate an extension whenever you want.

Which material should I choose?

Four finishes are available for our living room carpet covers:

✅ Our fabric covers (machine washable)

Available in 3 versions, depending on the desired feel:

Organic cotton: “shirt canvas effect” feel

Organic sweatshirt: “soft sweat effect” feel

Cotton-linen: “lightly textured” feel

👉 The back of these covers is in water-repellent coated canvas, durable and suitable for outdoor use.

Interview :removable covers thanks to the zips, machine washable 30°C, air dry (Cotton/cotton-linen: dries in about half a day, Sweatshirt: allow a full day)

Coating leather effect (front and back)

Ultra-easy cleaning with a sponge (machine washing not recommended)

Can you tell us more about the flap cover system?

At Mezamé, we designed the life carpet so that it stays with you for a long time, and above all so that it adapts to your child's development.

This is where the idea of the flap covers: covers that fit in a few seconds, like a notebook cover, directly over the carpet.

The idea? Not to have to take everything apart, just add a layer of exploration, play, protection, or softness depending on the moment:

🧸 Activity covers: sensory for babies, circuit for racing, wonderland to discover animals, coloring for budding artists or in the city for big imaginative people.

💧 Waterproof covers: perfect for messy activities, a snack or a trip outdoors.

☁️ Plush covers: for winter days when you just want to cocoon.

One mat, so many ways to play, explore, protect… and marvel.

📌 The flap cover is designed for the standard mat size (120X120), but the extension can be added by attaching the central snap to enlarge the playing space.

⚠️ Exception: the fleece cover is available in standard and king-size versions.

What is the difference between your zippered cover materials?

To help you choose, here is a short summary of the textures of our zip covers,

Cotton / Linen: “lightly textured blend” feel, natural and airy

Cotton, sweatshirt and cotton/linen: the back is inanthracite gray water-repellent coated canvas

Is the Life mat easy to clean and is it machine washable?

Oh yes! The life mat was designed by a mother (we know ourselves 😅), and so of course, maintenance was at the heart of the thinking.

Here's how it works:

🧺 Cotton / sweatshirt / cotton linen covers:
All our fabric covers are machine washable at 30°C. Air drying is recommended to maintain their softness.

🧵 Things to know about cotton/linen rugs and covers: Cotton/linen is a material that relaxes slightly with use — and that's part of its charm! That's why our covers are deliberately adjusted after washing, to ensure a flawless finish over time.

💡 Little installation tip: Once the cover is back on, turn the rug inside out and apply a few pressures to distribute the material evenly. And after two childlike rolls (tested, approved), everything falls perfectly into place! COMPOSITION INFORMATION Materials 100% Oeko-Tex Cover: Plain side: 80% cotton 20% linen Bottom covering: water-repellent coated canvas (50% PES, 50% cotton)

💧 Waterproof covers:
A small accident? A wipe with a sponge is enough. No need for anything else!

🧽 The foam pieces:
Each foam is protected by a non-removable, water-repellent cover.
For a little dirt: a little soapy water, a cloth, and it's gone.
In case of a major cat(c)astrophe: the foams are machine washable at 30°C (one by one, dry flat and in the open air).

In short, a carpet that lives with you... and that can be cleaned without any hassle.
