Our rugs
Foam pieces
They are protected by water-repellent, non-removable mattress covers .
If soiled, clean with soap and water.
In case of disaster, the foams can be machine washed at 30°C (one by one). Air dry and lay flat .
Cotton/sweatshirt/cotton-linen rug
Machine washable covers at 30°C (with similar colors).
Air dry .
Ironing possible on the front only (avoid the coated back to preserve the water-repellent effect).
🧵 Things to know about cotton/linen rugs and covers:
Cotton/linen is a material that relaxes slightly with use — and that's also what makes it so charming!
This is why our covers are deliberately adjusted after washing , to guarantee an impeccable finish over time.
💡 Little installation tip:
Once the cover is back on, turn the rug inside out and apply a little pressure to distribute the material evenly.
And after two childlike rolls (tested, approved), everything falls perfectly into place!
⚠️ Precautions for use
If your rug is placed on a damp area (e.g., a lawn with morning dew), check that the foam pads are not damp after use. If necessary, remove the covers and let them air dry.
Waterproof carpet
Recommended cleaning with a sponge and water and, if necessary, a suitable antiseptic product.
Machine washing not recommended .
⚠️ Precautions for exposure to water
If your cover or mat has been exposed to a lot of water , remove the cover from your living mat and let the foams air dry to avoid any moisture. Slight water infiltration may occur at the seams.
For the waterproof cover , make sure it is completely dry before storing it to avoid any moisture appearing.
📦 Long-term storage
If you don't use your waterproof cover permanently, keep it rolled up to avoid marks.
If any marbling occurs, it can be reduced by lightly ironing on the reverse side .

Our Moumoute cover is made of organic cotton , a delicate material that reacts after the first wash. This is why it is sold slightly loose new .
Upon receipt , we recommend washing it at 30°C , then tumble drying it. This will allow the curls to swell and regain all their softness.
