rallonge pour tapis d'éveil bebe enfant grand format XXL uni kaki olive

We are parents and that is no small thing.

Because our days are timed , we yearn for special moments with family, conducive to disconnecting,

Because our children are about to live in a world where everything moves fast , let's let them wake up and grow up gently,

Because at their height, we see life differently by giving them our full attention,

Because today we don't want to sacrifice anything , neither the well-being of our children nor the style of our interior, (visual with a pushpin or masking tape with a Pinterest insert)

Because we want to give meaning to our consumption and favor sustainable and responsible purchases.

At Mezamé,

We love the babbling and first discoveries of babies, the laughter and (even) the screams of older children, the cuddles, the battles, the wild games, the shaky constructions, the improvised huts and the bedtime stories...

Concerned about the well-being of your children , we work hand in hand with early childhood experts to ensure we meet their needs. Since you entrust us with your most precious possessions, we are uncompromising in the selection of materials and strict compliance with safety standards.

Our story is yours, that of a family who wants the best for their child and to share moments together while maintaining a contemporary interior.

Let's write it together!

Tell me Mezamé, what's your story?

I'm Charlotte, mother in chief of Mèzamé, my big baby!

Very soon after the birth of my eldest, Léon, who was born prematurely, I asked myself the question of an alternative to classic play and activity mats.

Very (too) stimulating, garish or too neutral colors, bulky but at the same time too small to accommodate your first trips and family time.
A little Oscar later and after 10 years working in the media, I'm taking the plunge into entrepreneurship #jyvaismaisjaipeur by combining my passion for the world of childhood and decoration, with the desire to carry out a project that serves family life!

A year of work, scribbled notebooks, fascinating encounters, many hesitations, nights of reflection to imagine the ideal carpet to accompany the daily life of modern tribes: the carpet of life!

And that’s how Mezamé was born!

And the name, where does it come from?

Quite simply, a bit of inspiration, one fine morning, over a bowl of Chocapic! Well, quite simply... a bit like giving birth to a baby, you know...

Sweet and full of meaning, we fell under the spell of this word which wonderfully evokes the first years of a baby's life, rich in emotions and great upheavals, punctuated by his discovery of the world around him under the benevolent eye of his parents!

Mezamé means "Awakening" in Japanese, so it was obvious, this nod to Japan and its art of living on the floor with tatami mats.

Mezamé is committed!

And because the story of Mezamé began with the birth of our little boy in a hurry at 32 weeks + 1 day, we have chosen to get involved in the fight against prematurity by supporting the SOS-Préma association .

SOS Préma was founded in 2004 by Charlotte Bouvard, mother of a premature baby. This association supports parents facing prematurity and/or the hospitalization of their newborn by listening, advising, sharing, and improving their daily lives in the hospital, and works hand in hand with caregivers. It also represents families to public authorities and defends their rights.

Since January 2021, we have been donating a portion of our turnover each month to support this association and in particular to finance:

  • Equipment to improve the comfort of parents and neonatology services such as "bed chairs"

  • Training of telephone hotline volunteers who listen to families from Monday to Friday

  • And many other initiatives to come!
