MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
Foam pieces protected by a water-repellent mattress protector. In case of stains, you can rub them with soap and water. In case of a major accident, you can machine wash the foam pieces one by one, rolling them up tightly, at 30 degrees, and dry flat.

Waterproof cover: Wash in water with suitable antiseptic products, machine washing not recommended

CONSEILS D'UTILISATION

STORAGE
The living mat folds into 3, making it easy to slide behind or under your sofa. We don't recommend storing it in its tote bag for too long; it's best stored folded into 3!

USE :
If your rug has gotten very wet, even if the cover is waterproof, we still recommend removing the cover to ensure the foam isn't damp at the center seams. If so, be sure to remove the cover and let it dry thoroughly.

What size should I choose?

Our living mat comes in two sizes:

Standard size: 120 × 120 cm – composed of2 pieces of foamAnd1 zipped cover
King size: 180 × 120 cm – the standard carpet+ an extension of 60 × 120 cmwhich is fixed using a pressure system

💡 No stress: you can absolutely start with the standard size and add the extension later. All our standard covers arealready equipped with pressuresto accommodate an extension whenever you want.

Which material should I choose?

Four finishes are available for our living room carpet covers:

✅ Our fabric covers (machine washable)

Available in 3 versions, depending on the desired feel:

Organic cotton: “shirt canvas effect” feel

Organic sweatshirt: “soft sweat effect” feel

Cotton-linen: “lightly textured” feel

👉 The back of these covers is inwater-repellent coated canvas, durable and suitable for outdoor use.

Interview :removable covers thanks to the zips, machine washable30°C, air dry (Cotton/cotton-linen: dries in about half a day, Sweatshirt: allow a full day)

Is the living mat thick enough to cushion falls?

Chez Mèzamé, on a conçu le tapis de vie pour qu’il vous accompagne longtemps, et surtout qu’il s’adapte à l’évolution de votre enfant.

C’est de là qu’est née l’idée des housses à rabats : des housses qui se positionnent en quelques secondes, comme un protège-cahier, directement par-dessus le tapis.

L’idée ? Ne pas avoir à tout démonter, juste ajouter une couche d’exploration, de jeu, de protection ou de douceur en fonction du moment :

🧸 Housses d’activités : sensorielle pour les bébés, circuit pour faire la course, wonderland pour partir à la découverte des animaux, coloriage pour les artistes en herbe ou in the city pour les grands imaginatifs.

💧 Housses waterproof : parfaites pour les activités salissantes, un goûter ou une virée en extérieur.

☁️ Housses moumoute : pour les journées d’hiver où on a juste envie de cocooner.

Un seul tapis, plein de façons de jouer, explorer, protéger… et s’émerveiller.

📌 La housse à rabats est conçue pour le format de tapis standard (120X120), mais la rallonge peut être ajoutée en fixant la pression centrale pour agrandir l’espace de jeu.

⚠️ Exception : la housse moumoute existe en version standard et king-size.

Quelle différence entre vos matières de housses à zips ?

Pour vous aider à choisir, voici un petit résumé des textures de nos housses à zips,

➡️ Pour le recto :

Coton : toucher “toile de chemise”, léger et doux

Sweat : toucher “sweat moelleux”, souple et cocoon

Coton / Lin : toucher “mélange légèrement texturé”, naturel et aéré

Waterproof : toucher “effet cuir”, souple et imperméable

➡️ Et pour le verso ?

Coton, sweat et coton/lin : le verso est en toile enduite déperlante gris anthracite

Waterproof : le verso est en matière imperméable grise anthracite, identique au recto.

Quelle est la différence entre une housse à zips waterproof et une housse à rabats waterproof ?

Bonne question ! Les deux sont imperméables et pensées pour affronter les activités salissantes, les goûters renversés, les DIY cracra ou les sorties en extérieur. Mais leur usage est un peu différent :

🔁 La housse à zips waterproof

C'est la housse principale à zips de votre tapis de vie. Vous insérez chaque pièce de mousse et hop, votre tapis devient intégralement waterproof puisqu'il s'agit de la même matière recto/verso. Idéal pour une utilisation au quotidien sans stress !

➕ La housse à rabats waterproof

Elle se pose par-dessus votre tapis, comme un protège-cahier. Son recto est en matière waterproof et ses rabats en toile enduite déperlante, parfaite pour les moments ponctuels : un atelier peinture, une compote qui s’annonce dangereuse ou une sortie dehors. Et une fois terminé, on la retire en 3 secondes et on retrouve son tapis tissu, tout doux.

En résumé :

– Zips = version imperméable en continu

– Rabats = version imperméable à la demande

Comment entretenir mon tapis ou ma housse waterproof ?

Pour entretenir votre tapis ou housse waterproof, nous recommandons un nettoyage à l’éponge avec de l’eau et, si nécessaire, un produit antiseptique adapté.

⚠️ Le lavage en machine est déconseillé.

📌 Précautions en cas d’exposition à l’eau :

✔️ Si votre housse ou tapis a été exposé à beaucoup d’eau, nous vous recommandons de déhousser votre tapis de vie et de laisser les mousses sécher à l’air libre afin d’éviter toute trace d’humidité. En effet, une légère infiltration d’eau peut se produire au niveau des coutures.

✔️ Pour la housse waterproof, assurez-vous également qu’elle soit parfaitement sèche avant de la ranger afin d’éviter toute apparition d’humidité.

📦 Stockage longue durée :
Si votre housse waterproof n’est pas utilisée en permanence sur le tapis, il
est préférable de la conserver roulée pour éviter l’apparition
de traces de marbrure.

👉 Si des marques apparaissent, elles peuvent s’atténuer avec un coup de
fer à repasser sur l’envers.
