The elf's mischief
Ideas for you,
but most of all for them! 💫
But before we share the ideas tried and tested by the carpet team, how about we tell you the story of this famous elf?
It's a tradition that came over from the United States — the little elf arrives in the house a few weeks before Christmas, and every night he heads back to the North Pole to report to Father Christmas on how the days have been going… then every morning, he reappears somewhere new, bringing a little magic (and usually plenty of mischief) into the children's daily lives. And when Christmas finally comes, he heads off to help Father Christmas prepare for the big night… promising to return the following year.
A sprinkle of magic, lots of laughter, and a countdown to Christmas we absolutely love...
-
he needed to cool down — straight into the fridge he went
-
the next day, of course, he caught a cold
-
he unrolled the toilet paper down the hallway like a red carpet
-
he's getting his beach body ready
-
he's playing hide-and-seek
-
he comes back with a note from Father Christmas
-
he's stuck in a biscuit tin
-
he's in the washing machine, pressed up against the porthole
-
he's having a sack race inside a sock against the other toys
-
he wrapped the children's shoes in cling film
-
he's causing a traffic jam
-
he played with the fairy lights
-
he took a selfie
-
the toys taped him to the wall because he was causing too much mischief
-
he wanted to make the front page
-
he coloured the North Pole entirely in red
-
he nicked the remote control
-
he's doing the countdown on a mirror in lipstick
-
he drew on the children
-
he cut a doll's hair
-
He's made some new friends
-
he set up a skittles game with toilet roll tubes
-
he's working on his tan in the oven
-
he taped across the doorways for a morning surprise
And most of all, have fun!
The idea isn't to add yet another thing to your mental load during an already hectic December — think like a child and you'll be just fine!
